| Q.... What is the "SIMUL-CAST" Exhibit ?
A.... Our exhibit is a 50' long casting pond that is 16' wide and 2' deep. It is fully filtered and aerated so that it can contain live gamefish such as trout, bass or hybrid stripers. At some Shows it has even included specimen fish such as catfish, pickerel, crappies, sunfish and schools of various baitfish. It has a raised carpeted stage that is 8' wide at the end of the pond that allows 2 persons to fly cast at the same time. There is a built in security rope installed around the outside of the pond to deter any spectators from putting their hands or objects into the pond but still allows them to view all the action from very close up. We have 3 large screen T.V. monitors placed at pond side that are hooked up to to our custom VCR/DVD/VIDEO CAMERA/PA. system to show the spectators exciting fly fishing and kayaking video footage that is directly related to the techniques we are teaching them at and in the pond. This new dimension of teaching fly-casting, fishing and kayaking we call "SIMUL-CASTING" and it takes teaching these sports to a whole new level. It provides Show patrons with entertainment and high visual interest to learn fly-fishing and kayaking, two of the fastest growing segments of outdoor recreation...Member Pros of AMERICAN FLY FISHING SCHOOLS plus other national and regionally known guest Pros put on Pond Side Seminars on many topics during the Events we attend. Most of our performances are very interactive with the crowds and we also offer individual casting lessons and kayaking tips to the attendees between formal presentations....Our T.V monitors are busy showing outdoor product information commercials between performances and the Pond also acts as an educational aquarium for the kids...All this plus our many other Show enhancements add up to make the "SIMUL-CAST" exhibit the centerpiece of any Event that it appears at....
Q...Is the "SIMUL-CAST" exhibit an indoor attraction?
A... It can be both an indoor or an outdoor exhibit depending on the venue space and the weather conditions....

A...YES we have produced a 20 minute DVD of exciting footage shot at several East Coast performances...A free DVD is available to any Organization or Group that is interested by e-mailing us at: info@americanflyfishingschools.com or by phoning our office....
